Project overview
UKAS provides accreditation services for testing, calibration, and certification bodies in various sectors, including healthcare and industry. Their clients range from NHS laboratories to manufacturing companies, working with a network of expert assessors across the United Kingdom.
Problem:
UKAS has a wide range of siloed qualitative information related to each accreditation schedule, depending on the specific accreditation. The team wanted to combine relevant documents into one meta-document that extracted and generated in real-time relevant information from the internal documents. Scope’s data module was able to break down schedules into relevant pieces, extract to a common format and then combine pieces to the desired outcome.
Outcomes:
Directly alongside the Head of IT, Chris Forster, our team deployed our data module to complete this project. Only alongside the Scope team, were they able to transition from a manual, spreadsheet based project to an automatic data tool. Deployment took 3 weeks in total and almost-immediate time to value.
